Timeless and classy seduction by women. Notice how she "disarms" him by kicking away both his hat and glasses so that he can't hide his desire behind them, and then he finally breaks down in the fabulous 2:10 moment by being driven to pursue and take her (as women often wish). Genius and very sexy. Cyd was only 5'3" but those legs just go on and on.

i remember watching singing in the rain often with my father when i was young and i always loved it because of the great music. im 40 now and watched it a few years ago for the first time in quite awhile and this scene i had never really paid attention to as a child. sid is just wow, she is just so, wow.

Decency is relative. The way she attracts attention to her legs in the beginning of the scene and then shakes her posterior and then her bosom to the melody are suggestive to say the least. in some cultures this sort of behavior would come off as offensive and/or inappropriate. so That's why i say decency is relative. Great film nonetheless xD
