This wee little viking was made using two servo motors blutacked together, and Arduino Diecimila interface board, and Max MSP. Thanks to the bloke who made the beat detection patch! Can't remember who sent it to me, but with a bit of parameter tweaking it works great! The rest of it I did myself (getting said patch to send data to Arduino, programming the Arduino to take the data and control the servos). This is a work in progress so be nice with the criticism! The Music Is Mr Scruff - Spandex Man.
All motion is controlled by the software. The robot is reacting in realtime. The track has been re-overlayed to account for the shit quality of my phone's audio. The only input I give is what you see, me clicking the start button!
