la puerta del cielo mean 'The door of Heaven'. This was the title of a film also known in its english translation as 'Heavens Gate'. This film i believe was a western. Heavens Gate was also the name of a cult in america, 38 members of which committed suicide in 1997 believing that they would be transported to a spacecraft which was hidding behind comet Hale-Bopp. This coinsided with the commets appearance at Earth.
