Self indulgent no. Self assured with electric stage presence in the early years yes. Every time I watch this version of LT I am entranced...wonderful. What a voice.

'Self indulgence'? I can't agree with that because these guys were musicians who loved to perform.
It sounds as if you are saying that every single live performance should sound exactly the same as the released studio album. There wouldn't be much point in playing live in thar
case. I don't think you do mean that but a band such as this, should be allowed the room for artistic expression without being crticised too harshly for it.
