Ronnie is right. I met that asshole Viv Campbell backstage after a Def leppard show in 93. Scumbag was written all over him. He has this undeniably arrogant aura. Ugly fuck and to bad he didn`t go before Ronnie. I don`t wish illness or death upon others but much rather Viv than Ron. Viv is no leppard and it has bothered me for twenty years that Joe and the guys gave that shithead a free ride.

Well.... I said Dio has never sold out, i never said DL did. Def Leppard had 2 Classic albums and thats great for them. Dio (the man not the band) as i always like to see it had 3 classic albums with 3 Different bands, That to me and to many other music lovers have alot more MERIT, And like i said before... with hardly no radio play and thats not an opinion thats a FACT!!!!! Joe Eliot or Vivian Cambel would never be able to achieve wat Ronnie James Dio achieved a True Legend in Hard Rock N Metal

I don't support arrogance. That said Viv has to live with his decision including Def L. There are many reasons he would choose Def:

Money (it would be nice to retire and some money to do so)

Girls (duh!)

Composing music (which may or may not be as collaborative as Dio was.)

Anyway it is a decision that Viv has to live with. I genuinely hope he can develop a better way to communicate with fans and former bosses (Dio.)

I'm not saying anything bad about Dio, trust me. However like I said I've met Vivian and unfortunately when I met him I was telling him that even though I really missed Steve, he gave me this look like "Ugh" and said "Well at least I'm still breathing." Sorry but that irked me to no end. Steve was Def Leppard and cocky attitudes just don't fit with them. I've met the band a few times and not a ONE of them other than Vivian was ever rude or cocky.

They only hated each other years after they split.....as late as 2005 Ronnie never said anything bad about Campbell,listen to the interview on the Holy Diver remaster......look at the brutally honest 94 Dio interview on here.....Ronnie hated Butler and Iommi as well for screwing up the Dehumaniser reunion.
