I believe he traveled with Yang Cheng Fu and answered any challenges, became Yang Cheng Fu's son-in-law and took Yang Zhenduo under his wing after Yang Cheng Fu's death. I think he only came to the US once, either in '93 or '94. He visited my Shifu in Mobile and a couple of other in door students while here in the states.

I love the low deep form of the Grandson. Years ago I taught for free and still I ate. Many 'teachers' are slow to advance students to draw out that income. Tai Chi Chuan should help us overcome material fear. We could all have beautiful homes if we shared and worked together. Think of the oldtime barn raisings and the quality of those buildings - the spirit of the community work. Try and buy a barn like that today. Buy Tai Chi Chuan?? How can you buy Heaven, Health or True Love. Te-Tao Ching...

It is very nice that the names of the forms are given in Chinese subtitles as he does them.

If you read any of Fu Zhongwen's interviews done in the 80s and 90s you will read about the traditional method of teaching before all the old masters passed away. Modern teachers aren't Laoshi, they are "coaches" but taijiquan isn't volleyball and can't be taught that way.

But people have to make a living, too bad modern material culture is poisonous to the ethic of teacher-disciple relationships.

They say that real Taiji looks like nothing. Master Yang Jun tells us once you under stand the spirit of Taijiquan you can change your form as you wish.

I was very fortunate to have taken a 'Tuai-Shou' seminar(push-hand) in Baltimore,MD. with GrandMaster Fu in 1993. He was Supurb at Tai-Ji Chwen! A great loss to the Chinese Wu-Jya community! Coach Li

His form is obviously very good, and probably his control and circulation of chi as well. As odd as it may sound, it would have been an honor to get hit by him at least once to know how powerful he was, lol. My form currently is no where that quality yet.

That kid seemed to be in slowmotion compared to his surroundings. Very impressive for his age.
