Playing this Bix Beiderbecke number were Richard on trombone, Gordon Whitworth on cornet, Chris Pearce on clarinet and saxes, Len Thwaites on bass and Brian Mellor on banjo. This was just a small part of a brilliant Sunday lunchtime session from five superb musicians.

i went to Bude Jazz Festival earlia 2day and ther was 'Malcolm Hogarth' playing the keyboard on his own. i'd never met the guy but i asked if i cud join him on my flute + he agreed! as i was playing a lady joined in on the double bass + then a man joined in on the trumpet. after playin for 2 hours i left and Gordan Whitworth (the guy on the trumpet) shook my hand + introduced himself!!
