Would YOU want to live in a box of your own poop with nowhere to go? I hope not because that's sick. Harvest and try something with more layers, (bins), for the worms to escape their waste.

That bin looks to be pure castings. It's harvest time. I love sticking my hands in the gunk and checking on the population. Healthy worms are happy worms.

And no, they don't stink, nor the compost. Composting worms are not nasty. They are awesome living creatures just like us. They deserve all the respect, care & love we can give them. After all...they are just doing us a favor by keeping us free of organic garbage and fruit flies.
