(But 'years ago' would generally be 'nen mae' rather than 'nen me'... oh well).
I was just about to see if the filename 'nen me' was a typo and was meant to be 'nen mae' on the Wiki, but now it says 'Service Temporarily Unavailable' due to bandwidth problems. =/

can this be done with mp3s like i just set it up and then play an mp3 in winamp and this thing beeps out the tones to my mp3s or do i have to time it all to the music

No, sorry, I'm nowhere near advanced enough to get it to detect the notes automatically and play along with that. So you do need to add them yourself, I'm afraid. =/
