The interesting part is that You tube is part of google. the other thing is that we get alot of stuff for free thanks to adverstising. I myself don't like them but if I had a choice between zero for free and something with advertising. I would close or ignore ads for one second and enjoy the free stuff. The internet is full of ads

Jorge257, I don't mind the ads to some degree. When they pop-up in the video and cut off a portion of the screen....that is too intrusive. Not to mention the lag time in loading your screen caused by the "specific" ad windows. Ads are going to be a part of youtube, like you say it is a payoff for free media.....but the line has been crossed and it is only going to get worse
