bannon, our escorts didnt "run", they started chasing the Conqueror which, btw, escape at full speed after attacking out of the war zone, and the ONLY reason why the sub escape is precisely because they turned round to rescue the survivors.

@Armienvh....We all know your escorts ABANDONED your sailors to drown and freeze to death.....cowardly and weak.The ships ran at full speed back to port...deserting their comrades to perish....disgraceful.

bannon, the only reason why you didnt send all those things is because you couldnt. You sent as much as you could, that is, you attacked at full force, as full as you could.

So what happen to the your navy? It seemed that it was happy to stay in port. We had to transport all our supplies over a 8,000 air/sea bridge. If you look at the Vulcan attack, this could have gone the other way and attacked the mainland.
More troops could of gone, we were well out numbered, on paper we should never had landed on the islands, but we did and we re-took them, down to the training and proffessionalism of the British armed forces.

micky, had the Vulcans even tried to bomb mainland, they would ve been shot down as they took off, the war was located inside the TEZ because to try our fatherland would ve been suicidal for you.
Oh! and just this small detail, you sent 28000 men, we 12000, so it was us who were well outnumbered actually

@mickyg495 Their navy retreated & never appeared.This was due to their sub Santa Fe being attacked & the sinking of their ONLY cruiser the Belgrano(ex ww2 survivor) their aircraft carrier was 3rd hand ex british ww2.Their navy had no way of knowing where our Nuclear subs where so they did was comes naturally to them and run.We didnt see them again.When we sank Belgrano their escort ships were so eager to run they abandoned their own sailors to drown,thats the kind of people they are

man our troops walked 50 miles with heavy loads 8000 miles from home and they kickd your ass.you try that on us again and im sure our army will win and make sure you never get a chance to try again.iff we attack in full force we wipe you off the map.but we want peace so just leave us brits alone

dave, no one is questioning your merits, but your troops had just a few less casualties than ours in land battles even when they were fighting conscripts with an average of 4 month "trainning".
I have no dubt that next time we go, we will recover our isles, and remember that in 1982 you did attack almost in full force

@Armienvh you should really read up on your facts we did not send our Buccaneer aircraft,Phantoms,Jaguar bombers and many more we never sent all our subs,read up your statements make you look stupid.Next time? what you going to attack with?Your equipment are museum pieces so you could ask Chile for help.Oh you cant they supported us or ask Brazil for diesel for your subs if they start,you can fight a war you have NO ability at all,Chile and Brazil protect you,because you cant protect yourself
