I agree with you only in part, thestevo. Gilmour played what R Waters wrote but he is not a parasite. He is a very good guitar player but Waters is the genius behind Pink Floyd.

thestevo46, I disagree... I'm not a huge fan of Gilmour's, either, but I don't think his music (either before or after the break with Waters) was *bad*. I just prefer Waters over Gilmour, both personally and musically.

As for Sid Barrett...may he rest in peace. He's earned it.
