This version of "Trust in Me" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Sunday, July 8th. 2007 by New Orleans Heat.
"Just brilliant" were again my comments at the end of this gig by New Orleans Heat, and that is exactly what they were.........brilliant! Even with three deps, Rachel Hayward on banjo, Paul Munnery on trombone and 81 years young Clive Butt on drums, the band still rolled along like the clappers and gave 110% entertainment. The regular members of the orchestra were leader Barry Grummett on piano, John Skantlebury on clarinet and alto, Gwyn Lewis on cornet and vocals and the quiet man, Harry Slater on bass.
Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening. Details from John or Marie Howell on 01902 756158 See us at www.jazzclub90.supanet.com
