the truth is, taksin offended the king and the king agreed to get rid of him. This is what a friend of mine told me, she is a mom luang(aristocrat). Bumibhol became King Rama IX by killing his own brother King Rama VIII. To hide the murder, he let execute all witnesses-his servants Chit and Butr and his secretary Chaleo by accusing them of an asassination. Two of their defendants were murdered, another two charged with treason. Without evidence the three were convicted and executed. After years, when it became clear they were innocent, Bumibhol try to blame the murder on a japanese Agent, who wasn´t even in Thailand that time.
