Westerners always complain, destroy, rape. Look what China had done proactively better than US, UK French, and all those white fuckers did nothing to solve the climate issue.
The Green Wall of China is a great project, hopefully it'll put a stopgap between fertile land and the expanding Gobi Desert. If it good actually put a good dent in the intensity of the annual sandstorms, that would be an engineering miracle.

This move by China seems pretty good to me.
