The Thirties in Colour - Adventures in the Americas - Mexico Part 1

Four-part series using rare, private and commercial colour film and photographs to give poignant and surprising insights into the 1930s. This edition examines American industrialist Harry Wright's extraordinary colour films of Africa and Central America, including his so-called Ethnographic Series of Unknown Mexican Indians, a unique visual record of the lives and customs of indigenous peoples living in the remote rural regions of Mexico.

If this story, HARRY WRIGHT' is true. And I have no reason to believe that it isn't. Than we are speaking of a man who has a lot to do with instilling the American Culture into the minds of these Mexicans.

    That's pretty huge.

I'm sure there were others but he definitely had a big part in it.

What I don't understand is why the lack of information on Harry Wright?

Can't find out much about him or his movies on-line.

    Great view by the way.
