well guitar as the theory goes...It will control your records from banking, medical, etc... I know for a fact this is going to be used in banking very soon. We are going to have a cashless system by 2012, and this is what its going to use. So if the theory were true....You wouldnt be able to buy anything if you took the chip out. RFID uses a handheld scanner to scan the chip. Hope that helped :)

I mean it seems possible because thats what RFID was invented for. It was, and still is used to track goods.
