This song is sadder than the original version by Patti Page !!!!

BTW, according to her own internview on Radio Hong Kong quite recently she said she herself was a big fan of Patti Page when she was a young girl.

I like this version too. Yao Lee sings Chinese version of Patti Page songs, but they are hard to find now.

somehow, the chinese version of this song
carries a pathos that is
different from the western version--
brings back memories of the b/w movies
and the slower pace of life .
