Athaeus, what you don`t understand is that a competive racer puts his whole life into his racing. winning is such importance as to put your life and limb at risk. you want that win more than just about anything you are not going to win any races if your emotions are fully under control.
Hunt just starts flailing randomly, hitting a marshal that didn't do anything. He's being a dick here, and should learn to handle simple emotions.
The first marshal probably tried to get his attention and get him away from the car to avoid injuries, since they were just about to lift it up.
The marshals risk their lives to keep the drivers safe - and the drivers sure aren't more important humans than any marshal. He should get off his high horse and thank them for their work, not hit them.
Did his emotions get the best of him, yes, but would I compare that to a fighter pilot just firing on civilians, probably not. This isnt that big of a deal. The guy grabbed both of his arms from behind, there is no need for that. He turned around and shoved him and then calmed down. This is nothing.
Oh well, at least I didn't compare him to Hitler - which is a great feat by internet standards!
And if you watch the clip carefully you'll notice that all three marshals suddenly react to something Hunt is doing, trying to get him away from the car. The marshals just grab one arm each to get him away from the car.
Now whether Hunts wild flailing at this point was a loss of balance (he did after all fall into the car), or an attempt to hit I don't know - but yes, he did walk away eventually.
Hahaha, well you are heads and shoulders above most for not making that comparison. But yeah, none of us are in his mind is what I am saying, so we dont know what he was doing. He could have been getting a picture of his wife and kids out of the car or something. We just dont know. It was relatively unwarranted, I just dont like jumping to conclusions on something like this.
