I can't read your sources, which is kind of weird because the video is in English but the sources are not. A quick check of wikipedia found intentional homicide rates to be 1 per 100,000 which is similar to that of other European countries while the rate in the United States has dropped to 5.5 per 100,000. Perhaps your statistics are correct but I have been unable to corroborate them.

2001 Sweden had little more than 1 homicide per 100,000 inhabitants. I´m not that good in math but in my universe this is more like 0,001 percent...
