@fizzguts the thing about the not going over 40 mph it that you dont really need to go over 40. thats the minimum speed for most interstates. and the air powered car would be perfect for city driving.

U r right, but only will compressed air not provided sufficiently high amount of energy (a 300 l tank at 300 bar contains the equivalent energy of around 1.5 l gasoline. Yipppiieehh!!. So you would need to have 40 tanks like this to have the energy equivalent of 60 l gasoline). This shit is not a bit ecological, as you need (and waste lots of) energy in the first place to compress air.
