For God's sake, Pwecko, the man is sixty-eight years old. Of COURSE he hasn't got the staying power he had thirty or forty years ago.
Having said that, I saw him at the Chatham Folk Cellar last year and he was frighteningly good. The tuning between each song is just a mannerism - he has always had it. Dick Gaughan does it as well.
