I'm guessing it's because light has no mass and they haven't observed anything faster. Space, however, is expanding faster than light, so it's more accurate to say that nothing travels faster than light within "our" own space-time, or in its "observable" state(we can only observe things that exist within (our own) space-time.)

Because it is the only speed that is invariant of inertial frame. That is to say that the speed of light to a "stationary" observer is exactly the same as the speed of light to an observer moving at 99.9% the speed of light relative to the "stationary" observer. The quest to reach the speed of light is essentially the same as trying to climb an infinite staircase. You can get further and further up, but get no closer to the top. The same is true for absolute zero in terms of temperature.

so what ur trying to say is that if the sun is too dissapear and the gravity is done by the sun dissapearing and moves at speed of light, that means that our earth will be going at same rate at speed of light

good question, well the only thing u can have that shows ur answer is when u see with ur eyes, its stataneous right?
well nothing else is faster then what ur mind can process, like this light that u
see is an imagination if u want it in science terms

I wonder if the planets are round because gravity through out the universe is like a river and the planets and what not are like stones being compressed and worn smooth and round by a universe wide gravitational current. and where is it flowing toward. A extremely big black hole perhaps. I wonder if it has viscosity? Gravity seams to be fluidic to me. All I'm doing is giving myself a damn head ache! I'll stop now.

I don't read much into this sector of science. But.. Is it just me or does this video make Einstein's explanation sound like a fantasy he concocted in a basement somewhere? I mean, we all think about the way things might be.. I wish this video gave more credability to his theory. It makes his explanation sound just as good as any crack-pot-on-the-street's ramblings.. What if space time is more like everything being submerged under an "ocean" of invisable particles? Sounds just as viable..

Careful what you say about time.
At this point, you'll have an urge to cite and recite the things that others have proposed before you about the matter. Instead of counting them as truth, acknowledge what you had just said about 'science improves itself'.

Well, start with asking a question.
