Yes . . . It's like we are the visitors to their territory. lol At times, when I was replacing the feeder, they would start feeding while I was still holding it.

This was in the Kootenays - Christina Lake in the spring. There's a couple of the little guys left, but they'll be heading south soon I would think.

Real nice my wife puts out feeders for these birds as well.
While I may not share the same level of enthusiasm it was a nice vid and the hum of their wings brings back the feeling of being dive bombed on my front porch. Which I don't mind.

We were amazed at their aggressiveness. One we nick-named 'Spike' had a favorite perch on a spine in the pine tree, to protect "his" personal feeder. lol
