Chambliss Ad (Cleland)

Rachel Maddow in mid-October '09 went after Tim Phillips of Americans For Prosperity on her show and mentioned this ad b/c he was co-managing Chambliss' campaign at the time. She retold the worn-out lie that a photo of Cleland was "juxtaposed" with that of bin Laden.

She also told him "There's a reason why this ad is so notorious seven years later." That's true, and the reason is DEMOCRATS KEEP LYING ABOUT IT!

Either you're confusing Cleland with posthumous Medal of Honor recipient Cpl. Jason Dunham (USMC), or you're just making schtuff up to hide the fact the lies about this ad have been disproven just by looking at it.

Stop embarassing yourself. Do a Google search, learn the truth, come back here, and apologize.

I suppose you believed Obama when he said during the campaign that he considered going into the military when he graduated from high school in '79, but didn't because the war in Vietnam was over and "We weren't engaged in an active military conflict at that point. And so, it's not an option that I ever decided to pursue."

Uh huh. He wasn't going to sign up unless he was guaranteed a chance to KILL KILL KILL! I guess the Nobel Peace Prize people didn't read that particular interview.

Obama has actually actively extended some of the sunset provisions of the patriot act...like the warrentless spying on anyone at all, whether or not they're a suspect of anything. this ad is disgusting, but dems aren't a hell of a lot better than republicans. as a gay guy who's protested these wars since they started, I have to say I'm not too impressed. I just vote green, if at all, now.

It's not germane to the issue at hand. If being a veteran or an amputee made you a better legislator, the Capitol would be filled with wheelchairs.
