Well, it does grow IN JAIL. Criminals know their behavior doesn't have to change, their stealing, rape, hatred is all OK with allah as long as it is directed at the unbelievers. What a racket! What happens to the muslim who converts to another religion? You and I know what your book says to do.

Nah, there are no compulsion in religion. Lakum dinukum waliyadin. For you is your religion and for me is my religion. Who hurt the dzimmi (non believer who are not attacking muslim) is like hurting the prophet it self (hadith). But it is pointless to explain something to people that already blinded by hatred

[5:33] The just retribution for those who fight GOD and His messenger, and commit horrendous crimes, is to be killed, or crucified, or to have their hands and feet cut off on alternate sides, or to be banished from the land. This is to humiliate them in this life, then they suffer a far worse retribution in the Hereafter.
