He didn't write this at 18 - he wrote the Requiem mass near his death - actually his Requiem (which includes Lacrimosa) wasn't even totally complete because he died while completing this work. He was 35so young.

But you're for sure right about him writing music at 18! Apparently he wrote "Twinkle Little Star" (the tune, not the lyrics) when he was 7 or something.
