Yes its a hybrid form of contemporary classical music of which Stravinsky played an emense part

sorry to have to say this but i think this something more than Jazz it is extremely exact in its compostion and form which is quite unique to the composer Sheer genius I adore this work

The Berlin Philharmonic version of this is pretty good, and if you like jazz you should check out Humphrey Lyttelton - not all UK jazz is dry and soulless!! (He says, waving a little union flag and drinking tea out of a china cup...)

una de mis obras favoritas de Stravinsky, a la que extrañamente se le da poca importancia. (en wikipedia en ingles, por ejemplo, no tiene un artículo propio)

yeah i don't agree with setting this up as a clarinet feature... it just sounds like a very unique spin on jazz done by Stravinsky for a full jazz ensemble

i spose thats what makes it so different. i totally see what you mean though...the solo tenor sax player did more than the clarinettist in my opinion! :S
