Indeed. And Griffin and his supporters are not all that clever, so they pretend they are being held back. They prescribe this description to all Black people for example, when it more accurately describes themselves.

This is the first time I've heard Nick Griffin speak. I must say that he does not sound like a racist to me. He sounds like a sensible fellow. I could easily vote for Nick Griffin.

Exactly, the fascist route to power has always been to identify itself against the 'Other'. As you say, it was once the Irish and Jews, then Blacks in general, and now specifically Muslims. In each case, they manipulate 'popular' concerns (so today, as the media quite rightly highlights the threat of Islamist extremism, Griffin has made Muslims the 'Other'). Its effective, they can say they are not racist- Islam is a religion. Of course, they are racist. They have a lot in common with Islamists.
