They could capture it with models? And set design? In the old series they hire out the army to play the soldiers on the snowy planet, in the new series they used CGI soldiers in close ups, it completely ruined the whole thing because it was like watching a cartoon. A model is real, touchable
You think so? I just thought it was really boring, the fight scenes just went on forever and yeh they looked flashy but I just didn't care, about the action or the characters involved. A fight scene is only good if it fits into a good narrative and the new Star Wars were just really dull... Maybe because it was all CGI, there was nothing real about it. Ah well, everyone's different. My girlfriend said to be yesterday "is Darth Vader the one with the red face and pointy head?"
At "wookiepedia", they say that the latter day Kenobi mostly used Soresu, a defensive form. While I find that to be true, Vader's style of fighting doesn't seem much like Djem So against Kenobi, more like Makashi or Shii-Cho. The Djem So is seen mostly against his son Luke, where he fights much more aggressively.

my only gripe was the god awful dialogue.
" you are so beautiful"
"only because im so in love"
no im in love with you
the jedi temple, everyone working together.
it had to be different than the empire shown in the old series
