I remember my Mum waiting for us in the car outside, oblivious to football but hoping for a good result so we'd be happy - me & my mate were bouncing up and down all the way home ...
This and the Newcastle match were great games. A proper old-school cup run :)
I remember sitting behind the dug outs, then Billy Bonds gave Steve Potts the thumbs up...Potts then "accidentally" trod on the ball & Billy Bonds was latter seen coming out of Ladbrokes with a huge bundle of fivers. I learnt to hate Luton after this & the 1989 League Cup semi disaster too !
