This version of "Fidgety Feet" was recorded at The Harp Hotel, Albrighton, Shropshire, England on Tuesday, January 29th. 2008 by John Shillito's Select Six. Many fans at this session called it one of the best at the Harp for a very long time! Led by John on trumpet the Select Six are excellent experienced musicians who get together occasionally to play at festivals or for short tours from their base in Devon. Bobby Fox on trombone, John Wurr on sax/clarinet, John Whitlock on banjo/guitar, Bob Jarvis on bass and Derek Maugham on drums make up the Six. The enjoyment they got from playing their music and entertaining the audience was obvious for all to see and hear! Sessions at the Harp are held every Sunday lunchtime and Tuesday evening.
