Clive,
I wonder if you understand the gifts God has given you. I think He's trying to tell you something. I saw you in Evansville, IN, USA in March of 2009. I could not get interested in Tommy Emmanuel after hearing you play. I went straight to the lobby & bought a CD which you signed. (Remember me? There was no CD int he case!) Thanks for expressing yourself.

Have to agree with the above - he is able to write such inspired music blending his classical training, Irish Roots and pure genius. By the way, his sheet music is on guitarcds. net

Inspired by the late Michael Hedges indeed - Clive Carroll describes it as a "homage to Michael Hedges".

Remarkable to see people speaking sense on this site re acoustic guitar. There are very few others who even approach Clive's levels of technique, musicianship and compostional skills. The usual suspects that are so often used for comparison don't even come close.
A spectacular musician!

Absolutely brillian, agree with everything already said. This is one of Clive's own compositions and one of my very favourites. But it's amazing the many things the man can do with a guitar - not to mention a banjo!

What can you say? An ambassador for the acoustic guitar, technically ahead of any other guitarist I've encountered, and genuinely musical too. Clive is not only a consumate musician, he's a really lovely bloke too - I spent a day on a workshop course with him last year - his humility and 'genuineness' are a lesson to guitarists everywhere. Every aspiring guitarist should watch this...
