Reagan is actually one of our worst presidents ever. He reduced GDP that went into the infrastructure and jobs of our cities . We are being surpassed in other countries because of him.

His tax cuts were a big joke, and he raised payroll taxes not lowered them.

Unemployment was bailed out because of the computer industry and jobs needed to fill the vast field

We also would have alot more money in our pockets if we went to a single payer system

Your comment makes absolutely no sense at all. You said I quote " He reduced GDP that went into the infrastructure and jobs of our city." GDP is an acronyms for the Gross domestic product. How can he reduce the GDP when it actually exploded to record breaking highs, because of Reagan's tax cuts.

When Reagan was president the whole county was run by the democrat party. If the Democrats had anything on Reagan he would have died in jail, not in his home, on his bed.

CosmicFork is a lier. Reagan abided by the law when federal air traffic controllers went on strike it's Taft Hartley Act, It is against the law for federal employees to strike.

CosmicFork is a typical marxist who will try and use a law that is on the books, which does not apply in the case of air traffic controllers. He even goes so far as to claim that Reagan did something illegal, like if the president is above the law.

Hell, in The Reagan Years, America simply resended Article 23 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which guarantees elementary Human Rights for workers, including the right to form Labor Unions. That shows you how much Republicans care about Human Rights. Republicans, with their religion of capitalism, and their notion that property rights, trump all other rights!

maybe its because given a choice between security and success, people choose success. There are many laws now that protect workers from management abuse, and a diverse free market system for those with ANY initiative, and union red tape keeps people back. Membership dropped from 14.3 to 8.2 million from '97 to '04, but private sector employment grew from 66.1 to 103.6 million in the same time period. Hmmm, are they all stupid people too that you would get in fist fights with?
