In one morning I've discovered Dayton Allen's early TV comedy work, his work on DEPUTY DAWG and now Ralph Bakshi in a psychedelic cartoon. Ain't YouTube great?

Oh! Hello ladies and gentlemen and friends.

An old professor of mine used to tell a very strange proverb.

Yes he did.

But I guess it doesnt hold true today, with all the new stuff thats out, huh?

Fast fact-"Marvin Digs" was the second-to-last Paramount short before "Mouse Trek" (New Year's Eve, 1967).

It's strange to see that by the end of the Paramount/Famous era in 1967, Bakshi really got the cartoons up to the times. Nice graphics in the dream sequence, too! Plus, there are flowers on the Paramount mountain!!
