Unfortunately it was real - it was in the news a couple of years ago. I can understand why you would think it was fake - it's hard to beleive anyone could be so fkucing stupid.

I heard a couple of other 999 calls which are not on here. On the radio news, I heard a call where someone dialled 999 for advice on how to cook a leg of lamb. I also heard how a woman dialled 999 because her boyfriend wouldn't let her watch Eastenders. I can't decide which is more stupid!

Sadly I was only sat in a lecture on domestic violence today and in many incidences people control every aspect of their partners lives - including food. I know this probably wasn't serious, and certainly not 999 worthy, but men suffer too, and it's something to be aware of!
