I don't mind saying that only tears, of the silent variety, fell as I watched this - even though I have the house to myself right now. If anyone has a problem with this, they can lump it.

On the subject of politics by the way, as far as I am concerned, it boils down to one thing. For anything decent to happen for any meaningful length of time, we have a choice. Let the politicians make the decisions or do it ourselves. Senator or not, each of us has to assume the Jeff Smith responsibility.

I think you need to be a little more patient with Obama change doesn't happen overnight especially in Washington D.C. of all places, and the president can't do things on his own he has to play ball with congress and the senate to get things done, and it seems like the senate is where all the issues are otherwise we might be able to get a Single Payer bill.

Obama told us the stimulus would stop unemployment before it reached 8%. It's now 10%. Obama told us the effects would be immediate. Then he said it would take time. Put down the Koolaid.
