that has got to be the weirdest band ever after seeing afew music clip from the residents all i have wondered is what category they should be class as gothic, black humor, or just stoners music?

That would be terrible. The Residents are not like other groups. To do that would mean they would be just like everyone else, making music to make money. No, This is very not Rez.
