A lot of people don't know this but John Lennon had become in the later 70's a Born Again Christian at one point and he loved watching Billy Graham and Oral Roberts. He wrote a letter to Oral Roberts about his problems .You can't say he wasn't spiritual either because he spent a lot of time delving into Hinduism and Buddhism

@blueblueblee I am going to leave you with some quotes from John himself "Im not anti-God, anti-Christ, or anti-religion. I wasnt knocking it or putting it down. I was just saying it as a fact and its true more for England than here. Im not saying that were better or greater, or comparing us with Jesus Christ as a person or God as a thing or whatever it is. I just said what I said and it was wrong. Or it was taken wrong. And now its all this.3ohn himself'

@blueblueblee 'I believe in God, but not as one thing, not as an old man in the sky. I believe that what people call God is something in all of us. I believe that what Jesus and Mohammed and Buddha and all the rest said was right. It's just that the translations have gone wrong.'

@blueblueblee i think it would be unlikely that John would say these things and not believe....

@blueblueblee I think that it is easier for me to believe 2 historical quotes from the man himself.. that is John's words instead of what someone else has interpreted to be his truth

I forgot to say this yesterday but Paul wrote Let it Be and the"Mother Mary" he was referring to was his mother Mary McCartney who had died when Paul was a young boy.... so I am not clear as to why Lennon would hate this song since no biblical reference was intended.

did I miss something?According to Ringo in the Anthology he IS jewish. He said he was afraid of touring in the south with the kkk demonstrating for fear that they would try to make an example of him, being a jew.
