I like Palin, but she should really stop these tings, leave 'em to the politicians and focus on being a poster gal for the states.

Regardless, space is in no way a new science, and just because we have been physically bound to the earth until ¡50! or so years ago, doesn't mean that it should be thought of as new. Genetics is a new science. Space is not. Science is mostly not conjecture, if it is not entirely true and provable, than it is merely a theory. Simply because we haven't been right there does not make it conjecture. There is some serious math involved.

OTownNewl, thats partly true. Only by observation, observation is not the same as exploring. Galileo and others were star gazers (observers); Columbus was an explorer (investigator). Im sure you understand the difference. Outer space exploration has only taken place in the last 40 years. That is fact.

@AchreousD We have been learning about space for thousands of years, and that doesn't mean finding planets, I mean studying of the cycles of stars, sun spots, eclipse cycles.

Its very easy to say that one wants to stop corrupt government, that one wants to lower taxes and that one doesnt believe in global warming however you must have evidence to back up your claims and ideas about how you are going to DO something constructive about them. This woman clearly has no idea at all about what is going on in the real word, and no ideas about how to make things better.

LOL = Laughing out loud. You are correct about that. However, I did not know I was being graded for my punctuation and grammar. Lets be honest, science is more conjecture then anything, when it comes to the universe. Science exploration of space is relatively new, correct? I believe it has been for what, the last 40 years? Their exploration has been limited to what 10% at best of the know universe? I know that is a high estimation, no lets call it theorizing.
