Got an original mid-'60s Blackface Twin I've had since the early '80s and I'll NEVER part with her. I play either my 1968 Strat or my Guild archtop through it - just an incredible classic clean sound. And although my BF is great for rhythm playing and sweet riffs, she will hardly distort or fuzz up, and almost can't be played softly - too much horsepower. Around the house and at lower volumes, I run through my Peavey Classic 50 - great distorted or clean, and great warm tone at lower volumes.

I find it incredibly amusing that not only do you not have any videos of your own posted, with which to demonstrate what you call "good bends", but all of your favourite videos are of really bad guitar lesson videos. Whats more, this is a gear demonstration, and a very good one at that, he is not playing songs, and is not playing poorly either, so if you cant tell the difference between a quick gear demo from a good player and a crappy online lesson video, then KEEP YOUR COMMENTS TO YOURSELF.

Save your money, then sell the Spider. You can get a decent used tube amp for $500-$600. A small tube amp will go a long way! A 30 watt tube amp will be much louder than a 75 watt solid state.
