In the UK for some reason is is spelt cheque, although it is said as check like the geezer in the film did, although the other kind of check is spelt the same. It does makes more sense to spell it check like in the US. Most of the spelling diffrences between you guys and us revolves around not having u's like in colour ie color in the States. The reason I was told for the diffrence was the yanks not wanting to spell things the french way which seems a damn good reason. Anyway peace out.
