the Israelis proved the F-16s dominance of balance in the 80s. they killed more than 40 enemy jets with them, and none of the F-16s were on air superiority missions, they simply could not scramble the F-15 escort fast enough to get those Mig 21s and Mig 23s... and Mig 23s were quite on par back in the 80s. and while operation cast lead is controvercial, from a strike capability of the F-16 its impossible not to be shocked at how much endurance the F-16 can take.
haha..actually F15's n F16's av splash many mig's n su's,you just jealous coz yanks combat jets av better combat record than ruski jets, even the mig29,the jet russia label back in 80's as F15 killer were splash by F15 n F16 in nato bombing o serbia in 99 n 1st gulf war, yanks also av F22 n F35 to handle future SU's n MIG's,dont say ruski jets are agile, well F22 av proven it can do same maneuvers, but difference is,F35 n F22 comes wit avionics n bvr capability ruski dont av,so U.S will kick ass.
I see F-16's a lot, I live near an Air National Guard base where it's the main airplane they use. 177th Fighter Interceptor Group, NJ ANG, based at Atlantic City International Airport.

I probably would not.
But a real fighterpilot should get the plane out of harms way, even if it kills him.
BTW: it was a SU-37^^
You're a hero if you would stay in :D.
Kudos to you!
