One of the greatest classics ever . . .

sad how america just sat back while this all happened....just like they're doing rite now with the genocide in thailand where thousands of hmong ppl are being hunted down in the forests because they aided the americans in the vietnam war, and america promised to get them out but they just left them there and nvr came back.....

I saw this movie at school, it was very good. I'll be playing this on my channel Friday night for my friends who should see this.

I hope that the situation is Sudan will stop. Over 500.000 died already...

Amazing movie.

Don Cheadle should have won an Oscar for this. No other film made that year was as good, deep or thought-provoking as this one was. He derserved it more that Jamie Foxx did for Ray, imho. This was a far better and more politically conscious film that moved people, not just a biopic. Cheadle was cheated! This remains one of the best films I've ever seen.

people who live in countrys like australia, america, britian etc really take their freedom for granted. yes, we are aware of what happens in other countries but in no way do we have any idea what its like. im sure the story of these people is similar to other people from the same country and it is just horrible
