Who cares if he swore? It's not like he did it to 'be cool' or to fit in with the metal scene, he probably did just get overemotional and wanted to express it in a way that he could through audio.
I despise bands that swear constantly, the whole '"yeah i'm fucking metal, look at me i'm fucking drinking beer and shit" thing is pathetic and i honestly believe you are doing the man a disservice by complaining about him swearing in one song...

It was just my own personal opinion. I know people feel the urge to defend the bands they love (and i do love agalloch BTW) as i often do with my extreme taste in music. It's not like i dislike the song or get where agalloch were coming from but my opinion stays the same.
