i saw a high-speed chase in a residential neighborhood, a '92 cavalier versus a police cruiser. i don't know what the cop was thinking chasing the suspect through the neighborhood, the car was a piece of junk and couldn't have got far, but instead the cop relentlessly tailgated the suspect at a high rate of speed, causing the driver to pass a stop sign at an intersection. the driver was killed instantly when he wast-boned by another car. it was the saddest thing i ever seen.
