I know they did this in the studio for the Kids Are Alright movie; didn't realize they actually used to play it live..... Moonie on the vocals...... he was a big surf music fan .......

actually thats not true. if youve seen amazing journey, they show him during the pictures of lily sessions doing a very high pitched version of the chorus.
and in the film the kids are alright the do babara ann as a session and his vocals, while not the best, are in tune

I have perfect pitch. Can tell you a note played on the piano without looking at it. Moon was not tone deaf. Sang both Barbara Ann on TKAA and Bucket T on key.
