The great thing about songs like these is that it's not necessarily about a certain situation but just certain emotions you have during your life, and I think this is great for that. Maybe this is about dying, maybe just trying to get your life into order, or maybe it's about a million other things, because it's so applicable. Any way you slice it, though, it's beautiful.

Really? ... Well, I guess for a 15 year old Men At Work would seem like ancient history. Have you ever heard Under the Milky Way by The Church, Beds Are Burning by Midnight Oil, or My Happiness by Powderfinger?

No, I don't just listen to Aussie bands. I couldn't remember the name Midnight Oil and looked up Australian bands in wikipedia and was reminded of The Church and Powderfinger.
