My pit bull Sharky is 1,5 year old on this video and the Chicks are just few days old. This was Sharky's very first day to meet his Baby Chicks. He is Sweet PitBull - Sweet dog - my baby ;) I am suprised too how sweet he is with little birds and animals. ...maybe because I got him when he was just 4 weeks of age! I even took him to the movie theater under my sweater - he slept the whole 2 hours straight. But NOW he is so big, that his head wouldn't fit under my shirt! *LOL* :DDDD

Again, I think you need to do "ure" reasearch. Your scientific reasearch is from googling? haha. What stats? there is NO SUCH BREED AS PIT BULL. It is a slang term to describe certain physical characteristics. American Staffy for example. One of THE best breeds for children, yet are included in the bans. And actually, husky type dogs are on the top for deaths and attacks if you go by BREED.
Not true. Where do you get your information? Temperment testing actually puts these breeds in the high 80's. You can't rely on media sources. A LOT of breeds are mistaken for a "pit bull" (Which by the way is not a breed, but simply a slang term to describe a dog with certain physical characteristics). REAL stats suggest that the commonly banned breeds that fall under a "pit bull" ban do not show up on bite stats. I'd love to know if you know what breeds they are.
Actually, politicians ban these dogs, the professionals (dog experst) are against breed banning. In fact, here in Ontario when they were banned, 43 experts and expert groups (eg. Canadain Veterinary Association et al) were against the implementation of the "pit bull" ban. One "expert" (a dog warden from Ohio, who has since been fired for killing too many dogs, they found he hated them and used his job as a way to murder them) was in favour of the ban. You should do your homework on the issue.

Just to clarify: staffy's...do you mean Am Staff's or staffordshire terrier?
