But hey, that's only my opinion, if you happen to like this good for you. What I found really disturbing is that some people try to justify this racist douchebag's actions and thoughts, using the "freedom of speech" argument. To be honest, his music is lame but I wouldn't be writing here at all if it wasn't for all the hype that the new album is getting.

It has nothing to do with overproduced music...I can appreciate music from very different genres and once in a while I listen to ambient bands like Suno))), but my preferences lean towards death metal which I consider a more powerful, no-nonsense style (which btw has a wide range of styles in itself). That been said, I found Burzum's music boring and spiritless, and I consider Vikernes a worthless piece of shit, a coward and a criminal.

how is playing power chords and a melody line of four or five notes over and over again genius? what creates all this "haunting" atmosphere is the shitty amplifier he has.

some overloaded, well recorded shit like dimmu borgir, which has no feeling, no athmosphere??
listen and try to understand, this goes way deeper, than almost any other music...
and you have to be a great musician to write your songs like he did!

Stupid Idiots are commenting on this Burzum video saying this music sucks! WELL NO! IT DOES NOT SUCK! Varg is genius, he has made atmospheric, haunting music that contains many feelings, for example hatred, longing, suffering, harsh/coldness, so much atmosphere this man has created and then idiots, who fine dont themselves like Burzums music (WHY)?! Come here and comment stupid shit like "lo fi ambient shit". Who cares if its lo-fi or not! I listen to this music and it exceeds most others music!
